Prostate cancer ranks as the most frequent cancer among men in Switzerland between 2015 and 2019 (1).

In 2020, approximately 70,000 men in Europe succumb to prostate cancer, making it the third most lethal cancer in men (2).

While prostate cancer is rare in men younger than 40, the risk increases significantly after the age of 50, with about 6 in 10 cases occurring in men older than 65 (3).

Risk factors include age, race, family medical history, and genetic mutations (3).

We at Lifency are leveraging Prostate Cancer Awareness Month to facilitate open dialogue, disseminate knowledge, and advocate for early detection and proactive healthcare measures in combating this disease.
